About the Author
Greg R. Fishbone

Greg R. Fishbone writes galactic fiction for young readers.

As a kid, Greg was a voracious reader, gravitating toward science fiction and fantasy. His early influences include Douglas Adams, Piers Anthony, Madeleine L'Engle, and Ursula LeGuin. He began writing with friends as a hobby, making a game of continuing and finishing each other's stories. Over time, he gained the skill and confidence to write and finish stories of his own.

Greg published his first book, The Penguins of Doom, in 2007 and teamed up with other debut authors of that year to form the celebrated Class of 2k7 group. Greg is active in the children’s book community, serves as Assistant Regional Advisor for the New England region of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and teaches writing classes at a local community college. He and his wife are raising two young readers and a pair of cats in the Boston area.

Greg is the author of the Galaxy Games series, available from Lee & Low Books and Spellbound River Press.
